City of Austin Annexation Information

On this page of our website, NASWC will post all information that we receive which is pertinent to the Annexation process affecting parts of our community.

The next step the City must take is to develop an inventory of services and then a service plan for this annexation area. They will be sending another letter to all property owners in the affected areas in Fall of 2008, which will be in advance of two public hearings. At those hearings they will present the service plan and invite questions and comments on the proposed annexation.

As Annexation progresses, we anticipate many questions and as we obtain answers, we will post them.

NASWC is not a partner to this annexation. Though we are working with the City of Austin to gather information and to help them update what information they might have on our community, this in no way reflects our stand on the issue of Annexation nor does it constitute an eager partnership for completing the process.

NASWC is not a MUD. Anderson Mill MUD and Springwoods MUD are the municipal utility districts to contact if you have questions concerning service and their role in the annexation process.

Please check this page often for updates to this question.
