NASWC recently negotiated a new contract with a reduced rate on garbage service from Round Rock Refuse (RRR). It’s fantastic!

The bottom line is that NASWC members will save. The savings are as much as $88 per year when compared to some of the other trash service companies in our area.

How Do I Get The Discounted RRR Service?

• Step 1 - Join NASWC if you are not already a member.
• Step 2 - Notify NASWC Mail('treas') that you want RRR service so we can confirm your NASWC membership with RRR. Please remember to include your address and phone number on all email communications with us. There is a place to indicate your desire to sign on to the RRR contract on the NASWC membership application form also.
• Step 3 - After we notify you by phone or e-mail that RRR has been advised of your membership, YOU must call RRR to actually establish your service.

Please Note: You must confirm membership with NASWC first in order to obtain the discounted rate from RRR.

Current Contract Rate

The Round Rock Refuse (RRR) base rate for the NASWC contract is currently $54.30 quarterly, plus fuel surcharge of about $2.20, and Sales Tax. Remember, this rate includes recycling, occasional bulk pick-up, and containers beyond what they provide.

That is a great price for great service!

Other garbage services in our area charge in excess of $85 per quarter. And one of those carriers no longer offers recycling!

Our contract with RRR is for a period of five years, with a five year extension available upon approval of NASWC. Our initial base rate was $45 + taxes. According to the terms of our contract, an annual increase or decrease based on the CPI will occur after two years. The contract was signed 6/06/05.
